Background Information

My son is getting married on Saturday, September 5.  He is the first of my three children to get married.  He is my youngest.  We have met the brides' family twice.  The wedding is in the bride's backyard in a small town in Illinois.  I am driving there on Thursday.  I do not have anything to wear yet.

The comforter

I went out on Saturday and instead of a dress I bought a comforter.

Here are some fiction books I found while I was looking for a book on what I should wear.  These books look entertaining and could be a good distraction so I can keep postponing actually finding anything to wear to the wedding.

Nonfiction books

Here are some excellent nonfiction titles that if I was the planning type I'm sure I would have bought and read and learned everything I needed to know about being a perfect mother of the groom, including what I should wear.
